Corita Kent formerly known as Sister Mary Corita Kent, was an American artist, designer and educator. Her work often includes Christianity and social justice. Inspired by Andy Warhol in 1962, her works used grocery store signs, texts from scripture, newspaper clippings, song lyrics and writing from literary greats as a textual focal point of her work. Corita designed the 1985 USPS Love stamp
